On May 8, 2018 TLT released a new website: lat.tlt.psu.edu. Learning Applications and Technologies (LAT) is responsible for a number of university-wide services such as student computing labs, technology classrooms, device management, remote applications, and technical support for the Pollock Testing Center.
The new LAT website replaces the old CLC site, http://clc.its.psu.edu. Requests to the CLC site will be automatically redirected to the LAT site. Users are encouraged to update their bookmarks.
Sporting a new mobile-first design, the LAT site has a fresh new look! Major services are presented as clickable “features” at the top of each page. We’ve tried to eliminate long “information dense” web pages, opting instead for a small, easy-to-navigate page structure with very specific information. The new design is also more consistent across service areas. Each service area has a support page and most have Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) pages.
In the event you cannot find the information you need, there are many other options:
- Read through the service FAQ page
- Use the “Search” feature in the footer area of each page
- Visit the LAT Main Support Page
- Visit the Penn State IT Service Desk website
- Call the Penn State IT Service Desk 24/7 help line: 814-865-HELP (4357)
Device Management Programs
Units participating in our device management programs, specifically CLM and SysMan, will notice information “missing” from the LAT site. These services have dedicated SharePoint sites with a wealth of information. Visit the CLM and SysMan pages to request access.
