Penn State IT is working to bring a media management and streaming platform (MMSP) to the University. The first step in this process occurred during the spring 2018 semester with a pilot of an MMSP, Kaltura. The MMSP will work in tandem with Zoom, Penn State’s video conferencing service, to replace Adobe Connect which is currently serving as Penn State’s video conferencing and storage platform. The University is evaluating the Kaltura pilot results from spring 2018 and will make an announcement regarding a decision to adopt Kaltura, or pursue other options, by the fall 2018 semester.
