By Wednesday, Nov. 12, instructors teaching in Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT)’s labs and technology classrooms should submit software requests for spring 2019.
You will need to submit a software request if you haven’t taught in a TLT classroom in fall 2018 or are teaching in a different classroom in the spring. Software available in previous semesters may be removed from computers if an instructor does not request it again.
For all lab and classroom computers, Windows computers will remain on Windows 10, and Mac computers will stay on High Sierra (10.13.6). Please make sure each requested software package is compatible with these operating systems.
Instructors can make requests through TLT Learning Applications and Technologies (LAT) course software request form. Before doing so, please review LAT’s Software Installation Policy.
TLT currently manages 116 labs across Penn State’s University Park campus. It also equips and supports general-purpose technology classrooms that are available for scheduling through the Registrar’s office.
